It looks like a costume. It wears like the softest thing you own.
The monster face is what sells it. Here is what to look at if you are wondering whether it is actually any good to wear.
1The fair question

Anything this silly-looking invites the obvious suspicion: that it is a party costume made of the cheapest plush available, meant to be worn once for a photograph and thrown away.
That suspicion is reasonable, because a lot of novelty onesies are exactly that. So it is worth separating the face from the fabric, because they are two different questions.
2What the fabric actually is

This one is sugar fleece on the inside and flannel on the outside. Sugar fleece is the thick, slightly nubbly fleece used on good blankets rather than the thin shiny plush used on cheap costumes.
You can tell the difference with your hand. Thin plush feels slippery and flat. Sugar fleece has depth; your fingers sink into it.
3What people say about wearing one every day
In reviews of wearable blankets, softness is the single most mentioned thing, ahead of warmth and ahead of how cute they look.
“It’s warm, thick but not so thick you’ll be sweating, it’s soft.”
“I absolutely love this it’s so softy and comfy I wear pretty much 24/7.”
“It is oversized and roomy. This is comfier than most of the blankets I own.”
4The honest downside, and what helps
The most common complaint in the same reviews is shedding. New fleece can leave fluff on dark clothes and on the sofa for the first few wears.
It settles. Washing it inside out, on cold, on its own the first time, and tumbling it low, takes most of the loose fibre out before it ends up on everything else. Do not bleach it and do not iron the face pieces.
5How it fits

There is one size, and it is cut oversized on purpose: a 63 inch bust and 54 inches long. On a shorter person it pools at the ankle. On a taller person the hem sits higher. Nobody finds it tight.
“I’m plus size, but there is still so much room in this. I would buy over and over again.”
The hood is where the face lives. Wear it up for the laugh and down for the couch.

CHECK AVAILABILITY“I bought it for the joke and I wear it more than any hoodie I own.”
“First wash it dropped a bit of fluff. After that, nothing.”
“Warm enough that I turned the heating down a degree.”
“It looks ridiculous and feels like a weighted blanket without the weight.”
“I am tall and it still covers me to the ankle when I sit.”
Five colours. One very soft monster.
Pick a colour, or two that go together. If it is not right, you have 30 days to say so.
